Bought at two different times from two different suppliers.

Is this typical? IMG_2013010153852.jpg

I like the T52 Maduro

[sarcasm]

Crap, they didn't make one. LOL

I would guess from different crops that were grown at different times could make that happen. I see it it from time to time.

I've seen that within one box. I always grab the darkest ones

Um, don't the people who box the cigars sort them according to wrapper color and quality? If these are from different boxes as they appear to be, then QC did their job. If however, these are from the same box, then JD has QC issues....I'd say....[ram27bat]

B&M's often refill their display/shelf boxes with cigars from another box, so you can only apply that theory if the box still has the factory seal.

And, yes, they do sort the cigars by color / shade when boxing, just about all NC manufacturers do. The boxes themselves are not marked though, so if a shop where to order, say 10 boxes, it's possible that they would get a few different shades by going from box to box.

It can be, yes. I've had T52s in all of those shades too. I wouldn't worry about it, it's a natural product, sometimes they ferment darker, sometimes they ferment lighter. I've seen similar color variations from many manufacturers in their darker cigars, even Padron & Fuente.

Not surprising, the only difference between the maduro and the natural padrons in the x000 lines is what pile the wrappers were sorted into when they broke down the pilon for the final time. Dark ones go in one pile, lighter ones in another. IIRC the PAM/PAN wrappers get treated separately.

When cigars are in the final sorting proses they sort by wrapper color because of variations in shade so a box looks uniform.

Ya. I've also gone to my local and seen 2 boxes next to each other. The brown was even lighter then the ine in your pic. I also always grab the darkest and most oily.

I had this happen with thr T110. One was as dark and rough as a nice maduro and the other was very light brown and smooth.

I guess I have never bought them until I was out of them.

Cheers!
