Here's the second guitar. Differences/upgrades include a different head stock method to get an down angle from nut to tuning peg, a much better neck (poplar) and fret markers where frets 3/5/7/12 would be if it had frets. Still using Padron boxes, but gonna try something different next guitar just to compare sound.

Messed up a little on neck length-had to put "bridge" too close to a sound hole to get 25" scale length.

Made a new neck for the prototype at the same time-compressed board bent too easily-tuning a string would bow it more, making other two strings out of tune.

Next project is to have a friend straighten out my soldering technique (bad) and make an electric jack and piezzo pickup harness for the prototype.

Busa, I can start hunting for Tat boxes, or if you send me one I can figure out a gitty using it, no smokes inside required (and yes, the mooch king FGM is my vet, so I hope the reverse psychology/subliminal mooch meets his standards....)

FWIW I'd be really happy to see Ray ( FGM ) get one.

He is very worthy of such due to his generosity and dedication to our CBID family.

If you make one for FGM or Busa and need any rock maple, cherry or walnut, let me know.. I can rip/cut to length and width.. I might have some Padauk or purple heart too.. Most of my stock is 13/16, though. Just PM if you need it when the time comes.
