This reminds me of a story I once heard.
A man is walking along a beach covered with thousands jellyfish. He sees a boy picking jellyfish up one by one and throwing them back into the ocean. The man laughs to himself and says to the boy, "Do you see all these jellyfish you cant possibly return them all to the ocean so what differnece does it make to throw a few back in the water".
The boy reaches down and throws another back in and says to the man. "It made a difference to that one."
