Even with the sequestration cuts going into effect, the Federal spending for this fiscal year will still be more than last year.
It doesn't even equate to a budget freeze. With all the talk of the USA plunging into second rate nation status, note the discussion is furloughing some Federal employees, not eliminating Federal employees. The entire game will be to try to make the most visible cuts to the public so we scream for more taxes. Enjoy the show.
Meanwhile, the nation is still projected to run a budget deficit of 900 billion USD after the 85B USD sequestration cuts. Now if we had to balance the Federal budget because of an evaporation of credit availability, we would need to eliminate Health & Human Services, Medicare, and Medicaid or eliminate the entire military and all veteran's affairs and veterans benefits! That is how bad it really is.
National bankruptcy or massive tax increases on a scale never seen before are in the USA's future. Sequestration is a scam to convince the American public that they absolutely want more government spending. We will shout from the roof-tops that we demand more government spending, demand big government, and demand that our politicians fix it.
The Republican Party and it's claims of small government and less taxes is on life support and the Obamacare death panels are reviewing the case.
All that is left is the tax increases. Everyone got a tax increase in January. You ain't seen nothing yet. Welcome to Western Europe, bitches. You should have got under the Obama Cone Of Protection.
