So you're not in the "Sky is falling" camp and you're not in the "Sky isn't falling" camp!? I'm sorry for your loss.

72 hours before the commencement of sequestration... Hear the fearful shrills of those opposing LESS than 3% cuts in the INCREASE of annual spending- (NOT actual spending)...

What is this President's role in this theater of the absurd? Photo ops? What else?

In Le HockeyDad's proposed Cbid posting budget for 2013, there will be matching 3% cut in posting. This is in solidarity with my Obama Cone Of Protection brothers from over in the government employee/contractor sector.

For sequestration I think that I shall fast one hour every other 2 weeks for every day of riots.

The beautiful thing about sequestration is the plan is the nonessential government employees will take off one out of every ten days and receive a comparable 10% pay cut equal to the 10% less work. In the private sector, people either take a 10% pay cut with no reduction in working hours or take a 100% pay cut and 100% reduction in working hours.

Although they're having to take one for the team, government workers are still under the Obama Cone of Protection and are doing what needs to be done to solidify the cries for new taxes on the rich and middle class and bigger government.

I happen to believe that many Government workers are stupid enough to continue coming into work regardless of layoffs.
Just give the Miltons a cluttered cublcle with a shiny Swingline and a radio.
The efficiency experts will take care of the paperwork.

The real danger here is that it is discovered that government workers can get the same amount of work done in nine days as in ten days.

We're going to need a little bit of deliberate work stoppage/slowdown to make things look really dramatic and dire.

Hell, first 9 days then 8, 7, 6... Before you know it, more work will get done if none come in to work.
Bobby in Calcutta can pick up the slack.
