Frank, Agnew (probably more like Agnutopolous before it was changed) was corrupt, calculated, and very shrewd but dumb? Highly unlikely. Did a good job as governor of Maryland before Tricky called him up to the Bigs.

Ford? Reminded me of Peter Sellers in Being There. He was a nice, middle of the road, pro-choice, career politician who claimed that the USSR did NOT control eastern Europa. Did that (among other things) make this slow talking, trippy (accident prone), oatmeal of a man a dimwit? You betcha. But on par with the disingenuous, ever grinning, babbling Biden? Not by a long shot IMHO.

good points about Agnew, perhaps I was remembering his corrupt nature and how he thought we were the dumbest. Does Nixon get low marks for having Spiro, Rocky, and Ford all a heartbeat away? Coulda done as well picking Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe.

For the record, I actually liked Ford, not much respect for his career but the man always seemed clean, and that's worth something. No interest in googling (per usual for me) but I have foggy memories of him spending something like 28 years in congress and never proposing anything. His biggest attempt at impacting change was Whip Inflation Now (WIN) lapel buttons. Wow. Inspiring, say it and it will be so. That policy may have led to Just Say No. Deep thoughts.

Being There was such a great movie and you have eternally strung together Ford and Chance the Gardner in my mind...for that I thank you!

Dumb VPs are no accident.
Look at the big picture. The "Secret society" puts two presidents up for vote, why only two? Because "Their guy" will win no matter what and it is easier to cheat with one opponent.
Then, guess what, you don't get to vote for the Vice president either because he is a packaged deal with the pres.
They have a guy that is so stupid as VP that you would never impeach "Their guy".
Why do you think Odrama has not been impeached?

And the sheep keep napping...

LMAO! (sorry)
And please do yourself a favor by NOT googling Chance Ford. Yes, he was a nice man. He was to politics what Sinbad is to comedy or Ellen is to talk shows.
"WIN" being the precursor to Just Say No... (laughing some more at "deep thoughts").

Only other political celebrities that might give him a run for stoopiditee: the "Guam might tip over" guy (Hank Johnson), Maxine Waters, Randall Robinson, and Jackie Kennedy the elegant Queen of Dumb- check out her interviews sometime.

If you are going to list elected officials and not just VP's then you are on track. But you have to put Todd Akin on the list with his comments on rape. The man is just above blue green algae in the brains department.

“If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down..." WTF?

Did this idiot ever have a health class in school? Did he learn his "birds and bees" from a lump of clay? WTF?!?[ram27bat]
