Very sad...

One of the best shows I ever was the Molly Hatchet/Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute tour in the little club called The Edge in Palo Alto. They did about a 2 hour Hatchet set that just blew the doors off. Took a break and came back and blew off the roof with their tribute to Skynyrd. Man, they just flat out rocked that place.

JSD, are you from Rochester? I've seen about 40 concerts in the War Memorial . . . . .

Saw Molly Hatchet at Ichy Coo park in Douglas Nebraska back in 1991 (I think), some dude got stabbed in a fight.

Molly Hatchet w/ Blackfoot...Green Bay WI, 1982 only the second show I had ever seen (first was Rush!) and it still ranks as one of my top ten.

About the diabetes thing, it can be fatal if you don't take care of yourself, while I am not diabetic, I do have kidney failure, it is most definately fatal without kidney dialysis. Most diabetics pass away from complications from the diabetes, like kidney failure (and not wanting to do dialysis). If they don't take care of it, they may not live long enough to make it to the kidney failure stage, heart attacks and other complications will arise.

hada get myself a buzz goin with his favorite drink, probly the 1 that killed him. jack daniels.

the last concert i caught of thiers was in the late 90's. mac crawford saw me in the front row with a sabian t shirt on.

he made it a point to come to the edge of the stage and hand me a signed drumstick when the show was over.

1 of the best southern rock bands ever.
