So I won third place in my first ever chili cook off. I learned so much having to cook in a competition and to cook the gallons that they required. Next time I plan to place higher. Tasted everyone elses chili and only tasted 2 or 3 others that didnt taste like canned chili or dog food lol.

I would have done better i think if i had known i could have done my cut work at home and just started cooking when i got there.

i am not sure what a chili pod is.

recipe hmm
lots of brisket cut down into chunks and bacon and tomatoes and chilis and beer and seasoning oh and onions and garlic. mix together add heat and cook for several hours lol

ill post a pic of the chili ill probably have some tomorrow night over rice.
