Some info please. Here is a picture of a reverse wrapped BTLs from a well-known web-site plus the description they give. I was comparing this to the BTLs I have, with both maduro and natural caps. So are they wrapped the same direction or am I brain dead? Below is the description.

Reverse Wrap Between The Lines

(4 1/4" x 54), This is a Hemingway Between the Lines cigar that is reverse-wrapped with a blonde (natural) cap, ie, the spirals go the opposite way they do on a normal Between the Lines. Most BTLs have a maduro cap, with the spirals going clockwise; occasionally some are made with blonde caps, and occasionally some are made with the spirals going counter-clockwise.

Also anybody know what the top one is?

The top one looks like a Work of Art.

Haven't heard anything about the "reverse wrapped" before this.

What is interesting, is according to the official Fuente size and MSRP chart, the BTL is 'supposed' to be 5 x 54, not 4¼ X 54. The WOA is 4¾ X 54.

Also, all the 'reverse wrap' means, is that the cigars were rolled by left-handed torcedors ... that's all.

Slim, wouldn't also just be a left hand leaf? Each tobacco leaf, after cutting out the stem, has a left and right half which has to be rolled oposite directions. If you look at the way the veins spiral on a regular cigar you can see if it is a left hand or right hand. I was just thinking that that was all there was to this. I could be wrong.

Is it just me. All three BTL are facing the same direction. All three have the wraps turning the same direction with the only difference being the bottom pic has the wraps natural then maduro rather that maduro then natural.

Or are all three reversed. I have only one and it is at home.

If you look at a full box, you'll realize that nearly half are reverse wrapped. I wouldn't say they're rare, just different.

John hey - I didn't know that about the leaf thing. Cool. And you know, I've never even seen a whole box of BTLs before. 😞 Either way, rare or not, I'm gonna smoke 'em. Isn't that what there for? BTW the upper stick is a WOA Maduro, I was able to pick up at one of the locals. Strange the website would take time to make a big list with descriptions, pictures and all, when their not that unusual. ?

I thought that should you the regualr BTL cause the way it rolled, the reverse should be the other way around, shouldn't it? I check the 5 cigars I have at work and they all rolled in this direction, so I assume it is more uncommon to have the other way?

Interestng, John hay Cigars ... I didn't think of that angle. I had heard it described as the left and right handed rollers on the CF forms ...

... but it does make sense.

BTW ... the one on the bottom (the darkest one) is from Moki's Rare Fuente Cigars web page, and he has it listed as a 'Reverse Wrap Between The Lines'. The 'original' BTL has an opposite wrap ...
