A friend of mine and his wife had been trying to conceive for 4-5 years with no luck. Finally they got pregnant and their due date was only a couple days before my wife and I's. Our wives shopped and planned together thinking the kids would grow up together and be best friends. The pregnancy was to be induced this Monday due to the wife's high bp. We got a phone call yesterday morning saying they lost the baby. Obviously they are devastated. They sent out a picture of this precious little girl all dressed up and looking like an angel. I just wish peace finds them. They are not the prayer type but I know they would take anything to comfort them during this time. Sorry this is long but I had to get this off my chest and a problem shared is a problem cut in half. I know my daughter is getting extra hugs along with my soon to be born son.

Just got a text from them saying she has to stay in the hospital one more night but they are at a loss for words because they have no idea how they'll say goodbye once the funeral home people come to pick the baby up.

This is rough... exact same thing happened to some friends of ours a couple of months ago... they tried for 7 years or so to get pregnant... it ended up happening finally and they were pregnant just 2 weeks after my wife and I... morning of their scheduled c-section something went wrong and they lost the baby...

there's no easy way to go through something like this but our friends are doing quite well by the grace of God... God's using the situation to grow their faith and change their lives for Him... I'll definitely be praying for you and your wife as well as your friends and the entire situation in general...
