This type of situation happened in the old neighborhood when I left in PIttsburgh. Subsidized housing projects where shut down in a neighborhood next to where we lived. HUD and the welfare system stepped in with subsidized and Section 8 housing to relocate residents in "affordable housing". Property values dropped immediately, gangs moved in, and shootings became an everyday occurrence. I got out and moved without any HUD or welfare assistance. I worked for it.
Wonder if the same thing will happen in the Hamptons?
In all fairness, apply this directive to the neighborhood Obama is moving to in Hawaiii after he serves a 3rd term. Let his cronies follow him there and see how he likes distributing the wealth then.
