Jack.

Seriously.

Not to point out the obvious, but you're using a cartoon character who is specifically designed to lampoon the far right, who is mocked in the series for his extreme actions... as your talking point?

Kind of like using a clip of Donald Duck as an argument against speech therapy.

Libbies...

Jacks point is valid, get over it.

Why would you consider me a "libbie"?

Because you won't accept the point, so to refute, you deflect. Libbie 101.

Speaking of deflecting.

I'm liberal, because I "deflect"? Last I checked, liberal was a political alignment.

And who says I don't accept the point?

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Victor, in one word, do you agree?

Ok...

From the top, so the people born in the cheap seats can understand... (I'm looking at you Klingon, TMCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ, and the rest of you jumping up and down going "ugh! Yeah! disagreement bad!")

I have never said anything in this thread about whether guns kill people, or whether people kill people, or whether dead baby jesus just points his finger and people die. I have made my position on gun ownership and the second amendment clear in the past, if you're curious about it, go and look up the old threads. However, it is absolutely irrelevant to the statement I made.

Jack is trying to make a point for gun rights. In trying to make that point, he uses images from a cartoon of a character who is SPECIFICALLY designed to mock people who are far right. In the cartoon, this characters pro-gun stance is taken to extremes to the point of it being a comedy.

Now, I know this is a tough concept for some of you who may not understand that life is more complicated than just agreeing with everything one side or another puts out, but do you think it is doing a position a service when you are using a cartoon intended to mock that specific position, as an arguing point?

Bonus question, for those of you still able to read past 4 paragraphs, does my position on gun ownership have ANYTHING at all to do with the accuracy of my statements above? (hint, if you answer yes, you're an idiot)
