Gene, I've been to Washington, to Congress, and to the White House. Let me get this right, I can't correct you, but you can me?

I guess you missed the sarcasm flag. in my post, correct away as you see fit.

As for having been to Washington, Congress and the White House, populated by politicians of both parties reminds me of a saying, "Well there's your problem." #-o

Some simple questions, as I'm a simple man. Disclaimer.... These questions are meant to be provocative.

The Syrians bombed the Syrians, so, we are contemplating shooting missiles at the Syrians, as retaliation?

This is an ongoing civil war where 100,000 people have already died, isn't it?

Isn't this actually a conflict between the Sunni and Shia?

This threatens our National Security how?

Shouldn't any outside response come from the U.N. instead of the U.S.A. acting unilaterally?

We want the same body of government to decide if we act or not, that cannot pass a budget successfully?

Isn't it a questionable play for the President to now throw the decision at congress, so that they can be blamed in the end?

Have we not learned anything from our past mistakes in the region?

A few days ago, the President was ready to act unilaterally without an act of congress, to strike the Syrian govt. over WMD, wasn't he?

Sound familiar?

What changed?

Zrx, it's almost like you bitchin about both sides when you can't get anyone on your side elected.

Wisconsin is still a purple state. The welfare chit holes of Milwaukee, Madison, Racine, and Kenosha have about the same number of votes as the rest of the state.

It's over in Michigan. Flint & Detroit are the anchor that represents the Democrat majority and the liberal nirvana the state has become.

As the Scumcago residents move north, we'll eventually follow the Michigan model.

Ummmm...during the mid-term, Michigan went just about blood red. The same in 2012. You had exceptions - like my f-in district - but for the most they went Republican.

On a state level, again virtually all Republican.

And we got Right to Work stamped into law.

Things are changing here for the better, believe it or not.

That's because slavish DNC boot-lickers like yourself would vote for Satan over a Republican.

Let's call your viewpoint for what it is: you're a low-information voter looking for the group that will give you the most goodies.

What kills me is that the people supporting Idi Amin Jr.- and Kerry was one of them - would have gone blind with utter fanatical outrage if Bush attempted the same thing (as would most of the Idi Amin Jr. boot-licking types). And let's face it, even Bush got the approval from congress to take military action before he did anything. In some ways, he was more respectful of the Constitution that Idi Amin Jr.

But Lil' Idi and, his small wiener, his big mouth have gotten him into one HUGE frickin' mess. He drew a line in the sand, had ZERO capability to back it up, and now has to scramble and step around the Constitution to wipe the egg off his face. And his liberal buddies in Britain are deciding to sit this one out.

And when he takes action he has maybe 90 days to get Assad to crumble. If he doesn't,. he's violating the law (which, I guess, is nothing new to him), and it leaves him open for even his gutterslime Democrats to sign on to impeachment. Mainly because they sowed the seeds for over 10 years with Bush about how we don't need to be in that region, and that we don't need to send our men and women over there to die, and so on, and so on. As much as most Democrats (and slavish Democrat voters like drywalldog) are trained to swallow a sh*t sandwich on demand, their fringe isn't going to like having to roll over on their core beliefs for Boy Wonder in the Oval Office.

BTW, this also is an open door for Iran to get a little payback on the US in a semi-official way by defending Assad. And Assad - like Saddam - has an intelligence network that rivals most power players on the world stage.

This is not Milosovic this time, and Assad isn't some newcomer to his position.

Anyone defending Idi Amin Jr. on this one is either stupid, insane, or so totally out of touch with reality it is hard to even describe in words. This is not, in any way, our fight. Plus, the only way anyone can guarantee that those WMD don't fall into the hands of a Al Qaeda offshoot is to basically back Assad, which is contrary to what Idi Amin Jr. is doing.

And I'd think better of you if you stopped voting for reprobates and then justifying it by claiming that the other side if filled with bigger reprobates...which it is not. They might be weasles and wannebe reprobates, but no where NEAR the level of filth that now makes up the modern Democrat party.

Hell, I wouldn't even think less of you for voting independent.

But you cannot call yourself Christian, and stick up for Democrats with a straight face.
