This is what I continue to have trouble understanding about Liberals/democrats, a healthy middle class, able to generate GNP and with that pay taxes is an open road to riches AND we never put up too much of a fight if they keep the trains running on time. Endless supply if they massage it correctly. They can continue to rob us as much as they can, for a long, long time, why try and end this gravy train?
Most of a nation on the public dole, taking and not producing anything but excrement will, within a short time frame revolt (if they still have the means) and then everyone loses.
What am I missing?
Healthy and happy middle class=endless supply of riches, with minimal risk
Small middle class, much larger lower=road to ruin, with much higher chance of death for the rulers
