Hopefully you bought them.

Hell, I think I'm heading to the liquor store to look for some...

A 5L mini-keg would go flat before I could finish it. I suppose if I were to fill a few grolsh-style cap bottles first thing when I tapped it, I might be able to pull it off.

No idea. Paulaner is the only one I've found.

Edit: I just found this one:

HofbrauHaus from the descriptions is a "yellow" beer, so maybe that's it.

Next year, I would suspect that a certain brewery in the Denver area will make a weisn bier. I've already planted the bug in my friends ear about doing it... His marzen is a big seller in the Denver metro area though, so it may be a little tough to bring competition to that beer.

My local Costco has the HofbrauHaus Oktoberfest in mini-kegs for like $17. Was thinking about picking one up to try, but see my previous post, above, about why I haven't.

---

Thinking more about it, I seem to recall trying it last year in 500ml bottles. It lived up to the description, didn't blow me away, but was certainly a very drinkable beer.

Sam Adams seasonal's have been very good this year I've never done a Sam Adams fan but I'm telling you they're good and this Oktoberfest is no exception

Easily among the best.

several friends of mine have said the same thing.....and most of them, like me, are not Sam Adams fans at all......

so there they were this morning at Costco, a big pallet of Sam Adams Octoberfest cases......so I grabbed one......

I'll be having one with a cigar in a few hours.........

Ayinger....one my favorites

Hofbrau.....not really a typical OF, but very very good.

I've had countless domestics.

Like the Bavarian beers best. You can taste the subtle differences in malt quality and brewing expertise.

So I just finished 2 of the Sam Adams Octoberfest.....paired with a 2 year old Padilla Series 68 Toro (nice cigar btw)

The beer is good..........but it's not in the same class as the Hacker-Pschorr imo.....

I don't have all the reference points that many here have, cause I only drink the Hacker this time of year (when I want a "fest" beer.......)

but hey.........at 90 cents a bottle?......the Sam Adams is good and I'm glad I got the case

Paulaner Oktoberfest Wiesn....'nuff said.

Still got the wehphistoloerhthysdfkl or whatever it is, and the Ayinger to try. 🍺

I'd be drunk by now if these Germans would put about .8 more ounces in the bottle...:-"
