The SNL Fey as Palin skit was the tipping point of the gullibility of the American public.
The fallout from that episode exposed how stupid people in this country TRULY are.

Tina Fey exaggerated Palin's original comment because the original comment was stupid. Folks do get it sort of wrong when they quote fey but the Palin fawning is the tipping point of the gullibility of the American public.

I didn't say that. But it does amuse me that when she said something incredibly stupid (and politically desperate) and SNL exagerates it like they alwyas do.... anyone could translate that into she never said it. Same would apply to Bush or Big O supporters.... its funny to me when similar people try to pretend they are different.

What she said was "stupid" only because it was irrelevant. But to be fair, the question itself was stupid, since the interviewer was the first to reference the close proximity of Russia to Alaska.

The issue isn't what she said.
And the issue isn't Tina Fey and SNL.

The problem is that an alarmingly high percentage of democratic voters (you know, the "educated" party) actually believe Palin said it.

But she did say it. You just choose the latter "it" over the former. The question was stupid, the answer was stupid the whole thing is stupid. It is equally stupid that Palin supporters claim she never said what she did (albiet it isn't what Fey said). It's a shell game and every last one of you all on either side are big poopie heads.

You read too much into it.

When a Palin supporter responds with "she never said that.", it is true.
It doesn't mean she never mentioned Russia.
You just choose to believe that's what they mean.

It's not taboo to use the word Russia in the same sentence as Alaska.
It's just stupid to even mention it.
But that was the question, which was a bogus question to begin with.
