KidMD it is still symantics. If the shot makes you not feel well for awhile it makes you not feel well. You may not consider it sick based on how you categorize it (you feel correctly) others may call it sick. They feel sick.
That is my only point. Too many docs do exactly what you are doing..... forget about lay language and hang their hat on their superior knowledge base. They also hate when someone thinks they may be wrong. It's a god complex thing at times.
Perception means something. Don't forget that. I'm actually with you on the facts and the science of it, but if you ever tell someone they are not sick (based on your set of criteria) and they feel sick don't wonder why you don't see them again. It's nothing more than managing perception.
In reality, the shot does make some folks "feel" sick. If they tell you it does, it does (or some other coincidental variable at times). It is not complicated.
