My kids get flu shots because they spend half their days in the petrie dish known as public schools.
My wife is a teacher and used to get them religiously until she didn't about three years ago and hasn't since. Funny thing: she has missed LESS days in the last three years combined then she did any single year prior (due to illness).

I was referring to rfenst who appears to love this sort of heated discussion, KidMD. Not me. I've already said what i had to say. Anything that happens to your children down the road is on your heads not mine. Do not vaccinate your children (pregnant and elderly as well) or at least avoid the flu and mmr. The rest of the poisons can be administered later when their immunity is stronger. There is no such thing as herd protection. That is a myth.
