Couple of years ago a variation of that was our Christmas card. "For every Christmas tree lit after New Years Day....."

HA! My mom always made the Friday after Thanksgiving the day we set up our tree and decorated the house.

A tradition my sister carries on with her kids. Me? I put sh*t up when I get tired of hearing my wife tell me to do it. She usually starts in on me right after Thanksgiving and I relent about a week or so later.

I have never been a "holiday" person. I'm not a "bah-humbug" type, either... I'm just indifferent.

We won't have our tree up until the local stores start getting them (Late November) but all of our other Christmas decorations are up.

I only have to pull them down from the attic and then stay out of the way.

always been after Thanksgiving at my house... then the wife goes nuts... I think the electric bill doubles too... 😟

I wait till after Thanksgiving too and try to get my daughter's bf to come over and help with the outside lights - he's 6' 7" so doesn't need a stool to string them up.
