This is a conversation between me and a hunting buddy, needless to say I about fell outta my stand laughing so damn hard

I learnt young to keep me a roll of TP in my ride, in my hunting vest, in my extra pocket, or somewhere.


I grew up with a cousin that witnessed my Grandpa having to do a drop and go, right in front of a bank full of folks fishing, while he was trying to get back to the VW van, but couldn't make it!!!!!


He ALWAYS kept a roll as well, I will NEVER get that story out of my head, and laugh so hard every time I remember that one, and it gets told at every reunion. I've fished many times at this place and it's a well known spot at the TN River, near a pumping station, almost always busy, funny thing is just as he snatched his overhauls up, a sheet of newspaper blew past, he trapped it with his foot, slid it over the damage, and never looked back. My Grandmother was a short round lady anyway, and my cousin Jack said she rolled all over the front of that VW Van laughing over that one, as they both witnessed his face as he tried to make it back from the bank with his last fishing pole, only to be overtaken by the "pain"

I have had to jump from a stand in a hurry myself a few times... but never had to cut off the drawers lol.

I've had to come out of my stand a few times myself.

The worst was a COLD morning and it hit me hard. I made it to my 4wheeler and got back to the camp. I was taking layer after layer of clothing off as I ran in the house. I had clothes from the front yard all the way the the bathroom door.

How did I know Mattie B could relate......

I never go out for a days hunt without a roll of TP packed away. It never seems to fail that you have to... go.

I have three backpacks.

Motorcycle backpack

Smaller fishing backpack

Larger fishing backpack

All have tp.

Lol I thought they deleted this but I guess not.
I don't carry TP but have a ziplock bag full of unscented baby wipes
Tp has a tendency to make a mess tearing or getting wet

You can't even wipe right?

Taking a dump or pissing near a deer stand will guarantee that no deer will come anywhere near,,,

Wiped my asre with leaves one time when I was about 12. Never went into the woods again with out a roll. Also, it's a good thing to know the location of a fallen tree about six-eight inches in diameter, if not cut one down a few hundred yards away from your stand so you don't have to take a crapus standing up or leaning against a tree.

Chris, if you didn't buy that bargain TP your fingers wouldn't poke through or perhaps you like it that way?

He doesn't stop till he's tickling his tonsils......


Round rocks are a decent fill in.

I wear extra socks, not proud of it but i have left one behind..no pun intended

eat cheese for a few days before you go hunting...
