Boxes from two different sources, plus an obvious fake thrown in.

why do the two have different colored wrappers?

I have seen darker varieties in the PSD4 that were just as authentic as the lighter.

I lterally have the same one in my humi. The wrapper is darker, and it's just a shade longer. I immediately presumed it was a fake.

The ones to the left are the good ones because they taste right? But, it looks like this is still a full box correct? Whereas, the ones to the right don't taste right? But they are nearly gone.

I did a box split of some PSD4's from the place i presume you are refering to and the cigars where the exact same as the 1/2 full box i already had from another very reputable place. Exact taste and color wrapper.

I asked the same question many moons ago and was informed that there is indeed a lighter and darker shade to the PSD4 and it seems that they will box like wrappers in one box together.

Color of cigars will vary from year to year. Even size will vary, but only VERY slightly (like a mm or two) but you will always have the triple cap, the distinct smell, the dark ash and, of course, when you smoke it, that cuban twang.

Looks to me like the ones on the left might be the fakes. Check the inside top box label. I have never seen one that said "made in habana cuba" under the Partagas "Flor de Tabacos" label. ???

Well, you guys believe what you want. I've smoked them side by side.

I wouldn't be able to tell without a taste test. Please send me two of each and I will return with my opinion in a couple days.

(Of course under normal circumstances I would never even assume to know much about ISOMS...but I can tell you what tastes better).
