Just for the waterproof plastic tubo to keep the kindling dry to start the bonfire?

They don't transport the Emerald Ash Borer, so they are allowed to be used across state borders.

Have to give you a +1 for being creative but I have to agree others above that beads would work better than foam. I would make the holes smaller and use beads. I've got several perforated tubes of beads in my small box humidor and they work great. 🇨🇮

I keep my 50 ct at 65 with Boveda packs but my bigger 150 count is at 70. I use the sticks that came with it, they have the green foam inside. I may get a bag of exquisicat beads and swap out the foam eventually. As long as some care is taken in handling using distilled should not cause mold on the foam. I've left new sponges soaked with distilled water in ziplock bags for a few months after seasoning my 50 ct and they never molded. They even still had a light Spanish cedar smell to them.

Everyone has their tricks just like everyone has their favorite smokes. Have fun.
