This should not be tolerated. Because it erodes the trust in the auction system. With multiple identities, a person can bid in an advantageous way that bamboozles the others, in many ways.
Basically one person can act like a group of people.
Here is one example, say that 10 single cigars should sell for $3 a stick and not a penny less or more. A single bidder with multiple accounts, can bid on 6 for$1, 3 for$2 and 1 for$3. Now the only price another bidder can come in at is $4 and probably wont do so. Meanwhile, this guy with the 3 accounts walks away with $30 worth of cigars for $15!!!
Can you think of other ways. This way we can all keep an eye out.
If I bid $2 for 6 cigars, I take all of the $1 bids (unless that person had a higher minimum bid)

I didn't think it works that way......

here is one way it works
9 cigars @ $2
1 cigar @ $3
----------------
All from the same bidder with 2 accounts.
Next bidder has to bid at $4 minimum
