Yeah, the Anthology will be a listen of love. Have known about and read about it for 20 years, shoot maybe 30, just never got around to pulling the trigger. Then recently I've been reading a lot of novelist William Gays stuff and ran across some of his essays on music... annnnd he mentioned the Anthology. Giddy up. The set comes with an archival type treatment on performers genres, etc. My decrepit '84 S10 p/u has a sound system worth more than the truck (yeah I know, not saying much) and is my usual venue of choice for cigar smoking, sipping and roaming around our ridgetop, and will be rockin and rollin and shufflin and slidin soon. I'll post up as it evolves.🍺
