People like to say they voted for the "winner". If they tide turns they like to say they at least wised up. In the end it doesn't matter. What matters is being under the Cone of Protection. When it rains, it is better to have an umbrella. It is even better to be indoors!

Bloody, I think at least some of the Obama crowd feel the same. As an ex Obama backer I do. I voted for him once and ashamed I did.

Its hard to imagine what a French cone of protection would be.

The closest thing that comes to mind is something with a french tickler.

Darn it S, now I have an image of the cone heads with french ticklers. I'm scarred for life! LOL!

In all honesty, HD, Bush sr got the doubt started with all his thousand points of light bs, etc. Junior only got immediate kneejerk support that lasted a short time into his first term. Some of us abandoned him after that despite the terror strawman. Didn't matter that some of us had Madonna cones of protection or not. Principles trumps $$$ any day IMHO and doesn't have to be exclusive.

Wise men say; you rather face a conehead with french tickler, than to have a frenchie behind you. No joke.

Why do you think that the first thing Churchill did in WW2 was to sink the French Fleet. Because he rightfully predicted that they would only aide the enemy.

You only got suckered by voting for GWB if you believed GWB was some sort of strong candidate. That's on you.

The same applies for the Obama zombies.

Nope- voted for the "lesser of two evils". Just another crock that is pushed.
Did you ever vote for either of the Bushes?

The important thing is to relax and try not to panic as we continue to slide into unfettered totalitarianism.🍺

You should Google that one. As it turns out Churchill was wrong. He did what he felt he had to do and people died.

LMAO. No it was actually a big deal and not that well known because no one likes to kill a Frenchman armed with a baguette. Churchill annihilated the french navy- thank god, or we would have all been speaking Duetch right now.

Voting for the lesser of two evils is a Godsend to the two party system. I would argue that voting 3rd party would be a better use of one's time or even just not showing up to vote at all.

I've voted for Bushs and against Bushs!

Actually one ship was sank. As it turns out two years later the Germans tried to capture the French navy in Toulon and the French scuttled almost the entire fleet. Something like 70 ships. Churchill was wrong and the British can't be trusted.
