I voted for Reagan in the first presidential election that I was able to vote in and have with a few exceptions voted for Republican presidential candidates. I've never pulled the "vote for all Republicans lever". Kentucky politics is dominated by the Democrats and as a life long registered Republican I've occasionally had to vote for a Democrat. I labeled myself and an "Old School Republican" because I'm against the modern neo-conservative religious right Republicans who have come to dominate and IMO lay waste to the Republican party.

I would not vote for another Bush or Clinton. It would be akin to sticking the lit end of a cigar in your mouth (you only know you've made a bad call once it's too late)
