Yours was a good question, because this site is somewhat different from most other auction sites.
But I'm a bit confused.
The "Max Bid" feature is a common tool. Because of this, I fail to see the need to "swoop in" because you've already set your limit.
Do a lot of people change their max limit just because an auction is ending?
Does a "win" feel somehow better if taken the last second rather than 2 days prior with autobid?
Lesson learned, now I can move up from being "FNG" to "BIT"

My platinum membership allows me 5 minutes extended time on any of my winning bids that get sniped. One day you will achieve this membership too just takes some winning bids to get there.
