Back Story: When we got our current cat as a kitten, I bought one of those stupid cat tree/house things that we just had to get for him to cuddle in and climb on. Turns out the cat would rather curl up in a cardboard box and has no use for climbing the play thing. (Being someone who grew up with cats, I knew it was a waste of money)

Earlier tonight I put it out at the end of the driveway with a "Free" sign on it. I think it was gone within an hour. Don't know who took it or exactly when but it's gone. I'm sure there is another cute kitten enjoying the play house. What a nice end to the story.

I wonder though.... about 30 min after that I could smell one of the neighbors' backyard fire pit going.

Coincidence? Kindling? Who cares... the cat tree thing is gone from my home.
