How many of you would have been happy to find out that Portugal scored in first four minutes of the game, and after two games, USA had four points in their pocket?

They have an easy one away and Bradley botched an easy goal. Even dempsy's goal was following another Bradley gaff that suzi made up for.

They can relax, and simply play a 0-0 tie, and they both advance, rested, to the knockout round.

There will be no deal. Germany for sure will go for the win.
So, if Germany beats the U.S. badly, and Portugal beats Ghana badly........we're out......(in other words, we somehow lose our 5 goal differential lead over Portugal by, for instance, losing to Germany 3-0 while Portugal beats Ghana 3-0)
Any other combo, the U.S advances................I like our chances.......and if offered that before the Cup started, would take it in a minute.
Ghana beats Portugal by a couple, we lose to Germany by a couple and bye bye.
All in all their fate is in their own hands and 8 they play like they did tonight I think they can get that 1 point they need.
