After a little conversation, Bur offered to make a cigar box mandolin. After various delays, the mandolin arrived this morning. Of course, it was accompanied by a nice selection of cigars.

And as a shameless plug, the cigar box guitar, aka "Gitty" or CBG I plan on making for the OpFTH fundraiser will have sound holes and be "electric". Just didn't want to mar such a fine AF box that MandoMan sent me.

Hoping it plays well-those were the old strings from the donor mandolin I salvaged the neck and bridge from, so hopefully he has a new set once he tunes it-I have never played a mandolin so only got it close to the right tone.
