Dear Jack,

So very good to hear from you.

Please try not to be disappointed, but no - I have never given proper consideration to appearing on American Idol (thanks for asking). I did take a few moments over coffee this morning to float the idea though. My wife tells me that she already idolizes me too much and that further idolatry mongering on my part would only serve to cheapen myself and perhaps even damage the fragile ego of others. Besides, it would cut into my already foreshortened time on the golf course.

I do admit to a level of curiosity though. Having never hear sing, or seen my formidable skills on the dance floor, of what talent were you considering? Cunning linguist perhaps?

Do write back soon old bean. These correspondences are to few.

I tried out for America's Got Talent. I didn't give em my best though. I'm gonna try out again and really sink my teeth intuit though

Can't imagine "annoying cbid poster", being a very good talent for a tv show.

I cought the trailer for the Honey Booboo show. Looks like annoying sells pretty well on the TV.

Jack clearly understands your true star quality. To him you are an American idol. After not posting for some time one of his first posts is to compliment you. Since he posted this in politics one must assume he secretly admires you political views as well.
