Painfully clear to me that we are absolutely f'd if we go into Syria. And we are absolutely f'd if we do not. It is not possible to go in; kill bad guys; remove Bashad; dilute all the most radical extremists; and be home in time for dinner. Those ISIS guys totally suck, but just maybe somebody else should give it a shot this time. We aren't capable of making the Middle East a better place and supportive of our interests....whatever we decide they are. Unfortunately, nobody else is, either. We're f'd.
