We Need To Talk About Those Christian Swingers Who Started A Spouse-Swapping WebsiteChristian Couple Who Spread Word Of God Through Swinger Sessions

By Brian Carey

This gives new meaning to “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Dean and Cristy Parave are self-professed Christians who have started a swinging website, called Fitness Swingers. The inspiration for the site stemmed from a threesome that the couple enjoyed with one of Cristy’s friends.

That sex must have been heavenly.

They’re not only Christian swingers, though. As the name of the website implies they’re also into fitness, and they incorporate that into their business as well.

Sex, faith, and fitness in one hobby. There’s definitely a market for that.

But this isn’t just a hobby and a business to the Paraves. It’s also a ministry.

Yes. A ministry.

According to Parave, he doesn’t think that exchanging spouses conflicts with his Christian faith.

“So far today, God hasn’t told me, ‘Dean stop that, it’s a sin. I don’t want you to do that.’ Until he does that, I’m going to keep trying to help as many people as I can,” he told Barcroft.

Maybe God will “tell” him to stop via herpes simplex.

Apparently, the business involves swapping spouses and Bible verses.

“I’ll take the busty redhead that’s married to Nick for John 3:16, Jack.”

Surprisingly, Cristy said that she needed some convincing that the swinging lifestyle was moral. Since the whole effort started, though, she’s totally convinced it’s okay.

“God put people on the Earth to breed and enjoy each other,” she said. “I feel God is always with me and he has put us here for a reason.”

We think she might have misunderstood Psalm 16:11, which reads: “at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

The Pareves have a daughter who helps them run the website. She says that the experience is totally “different.”

That’s an understatement.

Bugchasing is the practice of pursuing sexual activity with HIV-infected individuals in order to contract HIV. Individuals engaged in this activity are referred to as bugchasers. It is a form of self-harm. Bugchasers seek sexual partners who are HIV-positive for the purpose of having unprotected sex and becoming HIV-positive; giftgivers are HIV-positive individuals who comply with the bugchaser's efforts to become infected with HIV.

Bugchasers indicate various reasons for this activity. Some bugchasers engage in the activity for the excitement and intimacy inherent in pursuing such a dangerous activity, but do not implicitly desire to contract HIV.[1][2] Some researchers suggest that the behavior may stem from a "resistance to dominant heterosexual norms and mores" due to a defensive response by gay men to repudiate stigmatization and rejection by society.[2]

Some people consider bugchasing "intensely erotic" and the act of being infected as the "ultimate taboo, the most extreme sex act left."[3] A number of people who are HIV negative and in a relationship with someone who is HIV-positive seek infection as a way to remain in the relationship, particularly when the HIV-positive partner may wish to break up to avoid infecting the HIV negative partner.

Some contend that this behaviour stems from feelings of inevitability towards HIV among the gay community and the empowerment of choosing when to contract the virus.[4] Others have suggested that some people who feel lonely desire the nurturing community that supports people with AIDS.[2] It may also be a form of suicide.
