California waiting period...However, a couple months ago it was deemed unconstitutional to make a current gun owner wait 10 days to buy a gun when he/she already owns one or more. 6 months before it becomes law to allow Kamala Harris time to do her thing and ruin everyones lives.

Me? I'm cool if my neighbor has a titan missile loaded with a nuclear payload. Just makes life more interesting. But I'm gonna bet you'd want some regulation if your neighbor decided to buy some sarin gas for home defense.

Of course they aren't the same. But weapons have evolved over the past 200 years. "Arms" essentially means anything nations use to go to war with. That means missiles, tanks, carriers, drones, guns, grenades, bunker-busters etc etc etc.

Now, I suppose we could limit individuals to only weapons nations are allowed to go to war with per geneva convention. But I'm not 100% sure individuals should be limited by the same laws we limit nations. Personally, that limits the number of interesting incidents that may happen. But fine. No biological or chemical weapons. (see, you already want to limit the 2nd amendment rights... commie.) Anything else you want to take away from our rights? Libtard.

If your mustard gas is a laced mortar round then it's ok. But you bear the burden of liability, pesky lib (ri)tar (ian)d (ickhead) that I am.

"burden of liability"?
Don't try to pretend that your average person (even your above average person) actually can pay the damages on the fun stuff. If I accidentally kick the mustard gas-filled scud missile when I get out of bed in the morning and kill a few dozen people, injure another 20 and cause life-long neurological damage to 100 more, I'm not paying for it. I mean, sure... I'd be put in jail for shooting them with a scud missile, but it isn't like most people can cover those sort of damages....blood from a stone, yadda yadda yadda.

What are you saying? Only ultra rich should be allowed to have the fun stuff? Or are you requiring we have some sort of "mustard gas insurance"? Either way, sounds like you're a commie.

Yeah. Suing is funny. It doesn't actually guarantee that the individual being sued has the money.

If you shoot one person, odds are you can manage to pay whatever damage you've done in lost wages trauma whatever.
If you level a building, kill multiple people and give even more lifelong disabilities requiring medical care, you probably will not have the money to pay for those damages. You can be sued for those damages... but that's kind of irrelevant. If I sue you for $100 million, you aren't magically going to have that money appear in your bank account to transfer to me. I'll get the $20 TW paid you for a hummer yesterday and an IOU for the rest.

Don't get me wrong... I'm fine with that. I think it would be interesting for that to happen a little.

But I'm pretty sure a lot of the "don't infringe on my 2nd amendment!" people would have issues if random idiots started stockpiling weaponry that could damage large buildings or small city blocks. I'm not saying you want to. Maybe you're cool with it too. But to think it's just liberals who want to restrict your right to "arms" is incorrect. Most people in this country want to restrict your right to "arms". They just have a differing view on where that restricting line should lie.

We've become an urban country, with most people living in cities, or metro areas. They get their meals from a box, or eat hormone ladened meats that come nicely packaged from the meat counter. They wouldn't know how to raise chickens, skin a buck, run a trot line, birth & castrate calves if their lives depended on it. That's fine. But I don't want them telling me how to live. I'm down to my last 15 lbs. of deer meat & hoping to fill the freezer again in a couple of weeks.

You can have my guns when you pry them from my cold dead hands.

It's stupid. And if I already have 3 guns and I want to kill someone, why go buy a new one? Most people just want common sense to be used. Unfortunately... if common sense were really common, more people would have it.

Here in the, to some backward, state of South Carolina approvals are a telephone call away, with same day delivery. If you have your concealed carry license the telephone call is not even required, just the Federal 4473 form correctly filled out. Transfers run $25 to $40 per firearm.
