Real simple. Someone says, "who wants to send me some smokes"
Someone else says OK I will send you smokes. The individual sending cigars gets the address via PM. That individual then sends them 5 average cigars and now gets the privilege to say, "who wants to send me some smokes". Then someone will pick you up. So on and so on.

Csdias sent to Bigman (second hit?) (Is this the pass the noob concept Illini mentioned that was never explained??)
Bigman has not acknowledged second hit (did he get it? isn't he supposed to say?)
Muddy is supposed to send to Cdisas - Cdisas still waiting....seems odd for someone to accept and then disappear

Where is everyone.....I was waiting to follow this thread forward till I understand it but its going nowhere.

As far as a newbie doing trades, I had a one successful trade with PuffnStuff but not as a PIB. I sent to him, he sent back. i liked the simplicity. In reading this thread, it seems that a very simple concept gets all turned around. People are not necessarily responding to the most recent post so it is hard for someone coming in new (not at the beginning of a thread) to know what is going on. I'ts like being in a room where 10 people are having 3 different conversations at the same time.

I'm in no hurry. I'll keep observing.
