That shouldn't enter in to it. It's right or wrong. Besides he may run some day.

Timeframes is the bigger issue.

Technology and the laws have changed since Colin Powell was in office. Not to mention Colin Powel is a lot more trusted than Hilldog and the Clinton empire.

The trusted part is partisan garbage but the other is correct.

Funny we declare other republicans who have actually served in republican admins liberal because they are not always in lock step yet claim to gr independent thinkers. He may not be an ultra right winger but is not liberal. That's just silly.

That said I don't see anything wrong with his use of email during the timeframe and find him to be an honorable man despite being a shill for bush and heading is in to a war cases on lies. I can't say the same about Hillary. I hope this makes her go away.

What is funny is there are those of you who will say it was OK for Powell to use a non-government email to conduct official business because he was/is a good person. But, the same folks will criticize Hillary because she is in your opinion, not so good a person. Reminds me of the song about taxing the other guy.

Regardless of someone's political stance, all government employees, elected or otherwise, should be held to the same standard. In reality this is nothing more than a smoke screen to obscure the real issues of the day. At the end of the day, there isn't much difference between a Republican or a Democrat.

How often did we hear the Republicans begging for votes so they could roll back Obama's executive action on immigration, only to cave last week? Why? They know their base is vote for them regardless. They are hoping they can pull out a few Hispanic voters by saying down the road that they are sympathetic to their cause.

Also, I seem to recall hearing a lot of noise about rolling back Obamacare, but what have they done. ZERO Why, follow the money. I'd be willing to bet the heath insurance lobby has thrown tons of cash at them to keep them. Obamacare has and will be a windfall for health insurance companies. That is one of the most prosperous market sectors. The Republicans don't want to piss them off and have them start backing Democratic candidates.

Anyone that thinks either party has their interests at heart is either a multiple million dollar political contributor or a fool.

Arguing democrats vs republican is like two bald guys arguing about a comb.
