Have seen fist fights over parking spaces and removing the chair.

If someone parks in your paid space or in front of your garage, you have them towed. Usually because they have 2 flats too. It's that simple. 🤦

"Dibs" is a big deal in Chicago neighborhoods.
After shoveling out their cars residents claim "dibs" on the space by placing all kinds of chairs, large kids toys, laundry baskets to mark out their "claim".
Whatever is not in use from the basement they drag it out.
Major fights every year about who has dibs on a spot.
