Do they try to talk?

I've got a husky shepherd mutt and she seems to try to mimic my speech. Seen videos of huskys doing the same. So weird.

Loveable but a strange breed.

She is a traditional black and white but being 15, she has grayed a lot in the past few years. But another factor is that when this pic was taken a little over a year ago, her hair had just been cut. After moving to the gulf coast four years ago, we began having their hair cut in late spring due to the the heat and lack of shade in our yard.
