how many more Matthew Shepard type incidents, not necessarily resulting in death, vs how many St Paddy Day Parades (which I agree was idiotic intrusion) have happened over the years? In my lifetime we can be assured there were antigay incidents several times a day, still are. St Paddy's is one GLORIOUS day per year.
I know, Shepard is a particularly nasty incident in the way it ended, and not an everyday occurrence, but the bullying and belittling of him and others are common.
Protesting is to be commended, even when misguided, as it reinforces our freedoms too.
Agreed, nothing will change the minds of anti OR pro cause(s). that isn't even the goal. It's to change the obstructive behavior. KY clerks can believe anything they want, I'd even argue for them on that.
