Weather Report - The Legendary Live Tapes: 1978 - 1981

Actually, I wanted to listen to some solo Jaco Pastorius but Spotify didn't have any. 😞 (...and I was too lazy to look thru my CDs...)

Was looking for the Live stream of Tedeschi Trucks Band on Austin City Limits on PBS when I luckily came across an awesome documentary on Muscle Shoals and the story of Rich Hall.

I'm a big fan of old R&B. And although I couldn't watch Derek Trucks, it was kind of like coming full-circle learning more of the history of the Allman Brothers and their roots. Never realized how much great music came from Muscle Shoals, Rich Hall, and the studio musicians of that time. Amazing.

Great documentary worth watching:

Saw Jaco only once, back in July 1978. Weather Report was in town but their show was the same night as Little Feat so I opted for LF. After their show, Jaco showed up and sat in on "Teenage Nervous Breakdown." I have pics somewhere and a chitty recording of the show. He was pretty animated.

Just found this so haven't watched it yet but might be of some interest to Jaco fans:
