Since we both ran in the same class ( I think it was SS/I) and I was running over a second quicker then him, I was glad we never ran each other. I probably would have been looking for a new job after the race!!!

DED: at one point when I got serious with the car around 1973 or so a shop in my area who did hard core drag racing modifications (Tritak & Morgan who had a NHRA record holder car) had mine going 12.5 in the quarter with my wife driving. This thing was far from stock. Had a lot of help from a guy named Ed Hamburger from South Jersey who could make Mopars sing.
