Just because Lincoln was christian doesn't mean we should vote for any christian or run the country as a christian nation any more than ghandi being hindu means we should change our nation to a hindi run nation... If your decision making skills extend to "this one guy was this religion, therefore they ALL must be and we should ALL run our country following EVERY passage in that bible", then you have poor decision making skills.
