Kasich was a good guy. I really was hoping he'd make it through so I could at least have a sane candidate to look at on the other side to decide between during the elections. I don't know he'd be a guy I would vote for ultimately (it would depend on his positions during the actual race... ) but he was one of the few who seemed to have a chance.

I was ABC. Anyone but Cruz. Then added Trump. I hope Carson or Kasaich are still in when we vote. Rubio killed his career trying to be trump.

Cruz is the only thing that could make me vote Hillary. Trump would likely make me vote third party. Any other R and I'm in it to beat the dems. Even little Marco though id plug my nose.

so you hate most of the likely repubs so much you would rather vote for an oligarchical, holier than thou washington elite like hilary (understanding of course that a 3rd party vote at this current time is a wasted vote)? you feel that strongly that 4 more obama years of division politics and job killing policies with bigger government overreach would somehow be best for the country?

i am well aware of the hypothetical scenarios with the various candidates but feel that they will, at worst, approach the disaster that is a hilary presidency but most likely be measurably better. it is just hard for me to listen to you support candidates with conservative or small government ideals yet threaten to scrap it all and vote hilary if someone who you think is a jerk or liar (newsflash, hilary is the queen of the jerks and liars) is the nominee. it just confuses me as to what ideals you actually have and what you base them on.

i mean you are entitled to your opinion but i just wanted to make sure i understood your stance (if for no other reason than this is a message board and i suppose thats what we do on message boards).

To be fair gummy... We're guaranteed "division politics" with Cruz too.

Well.... I hate 2 of the R candidates and only 2. Actually I only hate 1 (Cruz) the other I just can't take seriously just because he has an R behind his name for now. 1 or 2 is not most. I will vote to stop Cruz and have said so since he declared. Trump is a joke and while I can't vote for him I will not vote against him. As for the worn out cliche that a vote for x is really a vote for Y Bullsh!t. I'll vote for whomever I choose and if I vote for Elmo that's who I vote for not someone else. That old dog don't hunt. It's an old tactic to get someone to vote for a dog turd when they don't want to. Usually it's the turd or their handles using it. It's the same with the so and so should get out crowd. Win on your merit not some other bs. Cruz and trump have no merit.

I will vote for Kasaich, Carson or Rubio when my time comes. If Cruz wins I vote Hillary (yes I think he is that bad that as bad as Hillary is I choose her). If trump wins I vote third party. If any other R wins I vote for them even if through brokered convention. I've said as much since before the culling began (actually I softened on trump). This is too important to put that crap (or Hillary) in. The hill vote would take some soul searching but it is sort of like burning precious Forrest to stop a larger fire.

I don't think anyone is gonna try to force you to vote for anyone you don't want to... If you see black panthers with baseball bats just go somewhere else... but the voting for a third party candidate, in this election and the last anyway, is pretty much not voting... maybe next election there will be an option people take seriously but not today... 😟

I disagree I actually think this might be the election were more people do vote third-party to show the other two parties that they suck donkey turds. I mean really Hillary versus trump? If there's ever a time for a revolution it's now because this is revolting.

Yeah, ok.

Coming from the man with blind hatred toward Cruz that once stated that Reagan couldn't be a nominee of the Republican Party today.

And the this precious statement ''If Cruz wins I vote Hillary (yes I think he is that bad that as bad as Hillary is I choose her).
That is about as irrational as it gets brother.

I know this, because I must be qualified to define irrationality.

Okay so you sincerely hold values a,b and c. You feel candidates x,y and z espouse said values and hope to vote for them in the upcoming election. Neither x, y or z is an option so you vote for an establishment candidate with incredible character flaws and values opposite a, b and c. It just doesn't seem to follow logically and makes me wonder if you ever actually held a, b and c.

Even though I would disagree with the premise I think I could better understand not voting but voting opposite your values just seems silly.

Either way, good luck in your decision.
