The antichrist will not rise to power by saying what he really is, but will do so through deception and will do so by tempting and fooling Christs' children with glee. They need to willingly follow him and that will not begin with honesty. He will build false trust as the first step.

I've told you my take on Cruz and you either don't get it, don't want to, or just disagree. All of which are cool by me. I beleive Cruz is performing a great deception right before his supporters eyes and one day their eyes will open and they will be embarrassed or worse.

All that aside I also don't see the value in a President who proclaims executive orders unconstitutional (assuming he applies the same rules to himself since he is so pious and stuff) and whose own party hates him (done intentionally by him for personal gain and to pretend a sitting senator running for president on day 1 is not a politician or insider regardless of where his wife works or where he gets his financing) and has proven he can not work with congress even from within. No EO, no congressional cooperation. Winning!

Antichrist? Maybe but that's more for entertainment value. As for being the only one seeing it....... I suspect a majority of his own proclaimed party, any one that's ever worked with him, and certainly the other party see it. In terms of real numbers I think you are on the smaller side rather than I.

Oh yes. Don't forget the other constitutional scholars that flat out disagree with him. Just because the Canadian count proclaims himself as something doesn't make it true. He really isn't holier than most, he really isn't less of a politician than his peers (the way he manipulates is pure politics), he really isn't more of a constitutionalist than anyone else, and he is not like Reagan....his proclamation that really gets under my skin. He is a great deceptor and a great spinner of tales who very well may rise to power using unsavory means and by manipulating the process and the times. No one in his own party wants him. Yet there he is. Interesting rise.

If he gets the nomination I've been casually talking to a few old friends who worked with me on a couple campaigns over 20 years ago who would like to find a way to work against him.

As to cruz, he is a politician. We live in a time of incredible spin on both sides of the aisle. It is just hard for me to give much merit to anyone who decries cruz as a holier than thou type yet states, in the same sentence, that he/she would support hilary over him and possibly even help campaign to that end. Just doesn't make any logical sense.

I don't see that sentence, any disagreement about the other side of the aisle or any mention of Hillary in this thread. Never trump seems to be acceptable. It should be never Cruz.

But I'll help you out again. I will only vote for Hillary if the republicans choose Satan or Cruz (it may be one in the same lol). If it's Trump I'll vote 3rd party which I know some moron will call a vote for Hillary sort of like Cruz is calling a vote for Trump because he can't get anyone to vote for him so he has to frame it as against someone else.

You like Cruz. Good on you. He is no different than any other politician. He just says he is and that's what some need to hear. And yes the big O is supposedly a constitutional scholar which in itself should cause pause when some one proclaims themself the most righteous constitutionalliest mamba Jamba ever.

Let's just sum it up. Cruz is a hypocritical douche that's trying to leverage the system for personal gain. His mamma prolly doesn't even like him although she's prolly scared to say it seeing as he is at a minimum a male succubis and possibly the actual spawn.

So hilary is less of a hypocrite and elitist than cruz
Hilary is much more honest and humble as well
Cruz is more likely to "leverage the system for personal gain" than the founder of the clinton foundation

I never said any of that about Hillary but knock yourself out.

There was virtually no way there was a path in which I'd ever consider Hillary. She is what she is. If my party chooses Cruz they deserve to get routed for that choice. Maybe they will learn to quit catering to the extreme. Sometimes you need to let the train hit when no one will listen. Hopefully a total trouncing up and down the ballot will be a learning experience. If not then the party should cease to exist and has run its course.

Some will see that as an establishment position. I do not. I see it as the opposite. They made their bed now must lie in it. On that we likely agree. Where we differ is Cruz would be the punishment. I'm just willing to pour gas on it. Him or trump are a disaster candidate. I embrace that fact if that's what you and others want. Watching Grahm is hysterical and a microcosm of the establishment. His buddy McCain sold his soul for Palin in hopes of stroking the extreme. Let it play out. It needs to happen and is overdue.

After the shellacking I'll be back amongst the rubble waiting to see if anyone wants to be serious or if they still support trump Cruz types. That's when real decisions have to happen.

In the mean time embrace the gauntlet you willingly bring upon yourself and the party.

Just to be clear Hillary is a bottom of the barrel dreg. We all know that. She is a reflection of the Democrats and they deserve her. We are better than them. Why not show it? Cruz or Trump are not the way to show it. It's going lowest common denominator. I get it folks are mad at the establishment so they are voting the retarded kid in to show their dissatisfaction. There must be a better way. Like any of the other 15 candidates.

if possible, read the opinion piece on Trump in today's Sunday Boston Globe Ideas section written by Jeff Jacoby. Jacoby happens to be a hard core right winger, making this (his second on Trump in recent weeks) all the more telling about his concerns.

A Cruz presidency would me an unmitigated disaster that my party would take the blame for and could marginalize the party. It would be the fault of the folks that are pissy at the establishment so don't care about that as long as it's a protest vote.

If the choice is Cruz or Hillary we will have a **** president..... All because my party is having a hissy fit and won't vote rationally. In the end Hillary would win regardless of what I do.

At that point to paraphrase the first woman president that Cruz and trump supporters put in office

What does it matter.
