I love "Trans"! Bought it as an import CD as soon as I found it.

Didn't get real deep into the comp so not sure if he has anything from the album.

No worries Frank. Music, like many other things, is subjective. Both albums are on my Top 10 Deserted Island Albums list. So speaking of which, here's my list, what's yours?

In no order other than an alphabetical listing:

Allman Brothers - At Fillmore East
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Beatles - Abbey Road
Beatles - White Album
Derek & the Dominos - Layla
Gabby Pahinui - Rabbit Island Music Festival
Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street
Vince Guaraldi - A Charlie Brown Christmas

Bubbling under:
Eagles - Desperado
Little Feat - Waiting For Columbus
Neil Young - Live Rust
Rod Stewart - Never a Dull Moment
Santana - Caravanserai
Sons of Hawai'i - Folk Music of Old Hawai'i

Yes, definitely a child of the '70s.

Putzing in the garage. Getting hot as balls out there but the Amazing Rhythm Aces "Toucan Do It Too", Too Stuffed to Jump" and "Stacked Deck" are keeping the vibe mellow.

When struggling just to get through the day, the anxiety of the day ending, and the oncoming nightmares the night brings...
The blues get me through.

Watched Lightning In A Bottle (2004)

Looking forward to seeing Robert Cray in July

Good night

I love Shirley...there's a lot of great Garbage...and, regrettably, too many that get skipped when I've got the CD in

This is a darker moodier album than normal for them. I really only like one song on it, it disappointed me as I'm a big fan of theirs. I don't know what propelled them to go in this direction...break up...divorce...death of a loved one...something. Just not the same edgy industrial/rock/pop group album that I've grown accustomed to from them. It really let me down. The only "bright" spot is "Night Drive Loneliness" where it actually sounds like them. There are some poignant lyrics as well.
