Probably the most boring great Bordeaux I have had was 1970 Petrus. The most amazing was 1960 Lafite Rothschild. But for me the great wine of the world is Red Burgundy.

2013 Mohua Pinot Noir (New Zealand ) need an hour to open so it could use about 2 years additional age. It was very good. Big, rich, reserved dark stone fruit, nice bramble nose, about 1 minute of finish. Also a velvety big texture.

Tried thr Meomi Pinot today. Tasty, although it lacked the horse blanket aroma of a typical Cali coastal Pinot. Had a slight mineral note also which gave it an added dimension.
