Spent my 27th anniversary and 18yrs married too my wife with a 1-1/2 mile hike (one-way uphill) to reach Hanging Lake, Glenwood Canyon, CO. A mountain lake at 7,040ft elev. Yes, the lake is full of native rainbow and cutbo trout but is a protected wilderness area. So no fishing. Sprouting Rock is just above the lake and offers the opportunity to see/be under the waterfalls that feed Hanging Lake.

Beautiful! I have to make it to that part of the country some day.

It's a shame they won't allow catch and release fishing.

Wow. That is simply picturesque. Sitting there with a beer and a cigar would be Heaven on Earth.

Um... any fish in there?
