I picked up this piece of wood and thinking about carving on it when I smoke some cigars. Looking for suggestions, since the top is 2 different levels I'm currently thinking about making the higher one a flat top and the lower level an ashtray. Any suggestions or advice welcomed.

And no we can not cut it up and use it for firewood when we go camping.
