Hi guys and gals,

Here's the pic from my best friend's celebration of life this weekend. In keeping with his attitude and heart, it was a celebration-more laughs than tears, good remembrances from a few of us, and his pastor really spoke from his heart and shared the Gospel with everyone there, as Glen would have liked. As he was my best friend and we spent lots of time together in all kinds of circumstances, not just riding bikes, I can say he had a real and strong faith. While I miss him daily I know he is heaven free of pain and sorrow.

He also would always leave you with a "Love you, brother" or "Love you, Sis" which wasn't ever trite or a throw-away line. I'd challenge all of us to do the same, as we never know what kind of day someone else is having, or when we will see them again.

Love you, Brothers!

BTW the way I'm the "O" in the picture. The Sergeant of Marines is another good friend of ours who rides with us.

Thanks guys-finally have a chance to ash a cigar tonight in his honor. Got an L40 or Casa Fuente lancero from Jules/BoilerEMT in the holder to pick from on the drive home.

Miss him every day, but glad he didn't suffer here, and will see him in heaven someday.

Will light up one in honor of Glen tonight....Thoughts and prayers to you, his family and all who were no doubt thankful for Glen being part of their lives.

I'll be firing up an old camacho from Shaun in a little while. You may start feeling some positive vibes in an hour or so, sir.

Thank you Sir, and Shaun.

Humming a few bars of "It is well (with my soul)" while finishing up the L40, so yes, I appreciate it.

Amazing story behind that hymn and one of two I want sung at my funeral. The other is "Eternal Father, Strong to Save."
