Meh, it's like a careless shrug of the shoulders accompanied by rolling eyes. Besides, you know the rulez here, if you say something bothers or offends you, it hangs a virtual, "Lick Me" sign on your back. Times ten if it involves grammar or spelling.:-({|=

Logically if A = B, with B being the condition it is unsayable, and C = A, shouldn’t C = B also?

Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO):

Larry David somehow became friends with a rapper named something like Crazy Eye Killah who always asked Larry "are you my niggah?"

One time Larry, unaware of current PC and in an example of brilliantly innocent social commentary, replied "are you my Caucasion?"

Killah was forced to reply "yeah".

Both actors played it to perfection.

If it walks like a duck, squawks like a duck, and looks like a duck… It's a mallard.

^^^ Grouse season starts Labor Day weekend. Waterfowl (duck & geese) season starts at the end of Oct.
Love bird hunting. Just don't recommend doing it with Cheney.

I would think that only a person who actually effed his mother would be offended by the term.

You know. Because if she isn't one then she won't be offended.

Of course, if she does get offended then she must be one.
Right?

Navin: "Oh of course! They'll eat the vegetables!"
Con Man: "Boss, could I talk to him? We're going to keep out the ****s!"
Navin: "The what?"

yes I did play off the overly sensitive part but didn't miss the point. I actually agreed with some of what you said so didn't comment. it is weird how we as a society find one more or equally offensive as the other.. but we do....

to be honest I didn't feel like I was responding directly to you or your thought.... those words sparked a thought and I typed it.... it isn't all about you

meh.

Holy crap.

But I agree that "we as a society" do find some terms more offensive than others.
It's what I stated already.
What I am offering up for discussion is that we shouldn't let the media define the levels of offensiveness. And it is the media. Because there is no reason that any person with a sane mind could ever think that it's worse to be called something based on nationality, religion or skin color, than it is to be called a vile incestuous pervert.
Just as example.

Besides, whatever happened to "sticks and stones"?

Dude if you don't get it it's ok. You don't have to and possibly I'm not articulating it very well. Meh.

The media is a villain but it goes back to if you can predict the reaction than don't complain about it when you do it. Or go ahead and complain but don't expect many to care.
